Congratulations !!!!
:P
Everyone answering the question got it correct.
I guess we do a good job teaching the CESA. Either that or we are relentless. <_<
The answer is
Keep all equipment in place and retain his/her regulator mouthpiece
Remember, the term is Controlled Emergency Swimming Ascent. Only by keeping your equipment in place can you maintain control of the ascent. Keeping your weight belt in place will enable you to control your rate of ascent. Keeping your regulator in place has several advantages: 1) You might be able to get a few breaths of air as you ascend and the ambient pressure is reduced.; 2) If you do have an uncontrollable urge to inhale it’s far better to do it with a regulator in your month rather than inhale water; 3) when you do the exercise in training, you can easily resume normal breathing at anytime you wish.
Thanks to all that participated
