A. Increases as depth increases
Your regulator delivers air at ambient pressure. As pressure increases during descent, your regulator supplies more air from your tank. Usage varies directly with depth. You consume twice as much air with each breath at 33 feet compared to the surface, three times as much at 66 ft, etc.
