When you rinse your regulator you should avoid:

D) Depressing the purge button on the second stage.

If you depress the purge button with water in the second stage, the water can flow through the intermediate pressure hose and into the first stage. Even fresh water in a regulator first stage can cause unwanted deposits.

This question seemed a little difficult for the masses <_< .
